there is something very personal about this image. it makes the viewer feel close to the model, as though we are with her on the street. more so than a lot of other street photos i have seen, i feel like i am there. truly, fantastic work! this piece is inspiring!

This is a really nice photograph. Firstly, the lady is in precise focus. Which is really good in itself. Plus there is enough blur in the background to eliminate any distractions to the theme. By the blur I believe there was slight amount to panning? I might be wrong though.
As for the "X", yes it does stand out against the texture of the skin. The monochrome works really well too. Its a pretty decent street fashion shot too.
